This is a great little product. Kyocera is a world leader in producing high density ceramics for industrial, commercial and consumer use. Its high density ceramic wheels easily sharpen carbon steel or stainless steel knives. The fast cutting action of these ceramic wheels make quick work of sharpening even very dull knives. The product’s design make it easy to use and its small size makes it easy to store. I’ve had other knife sharpeners but this is the best. I highly recommend it!

I have tried several products to keep my expensive knife set sharp. Some were very costly and only worked marginally well. I purchased my first Kyocera knife and couldn’t believe the sharp edge it held. At the same time, I purchased this Kyocera Steel knife sharpener for my others knives with a little skepticisam. I was so blown away at the edge it put on my fairly dull knives with just a few strokes through the ceramic disks. I liked it so well, I bought 2 more as gifts for my children. They love it as well. Simplest, most effective knife sharpener out there.
